Rockwood II Expanded

The Expanded version of the Rockwood II plan adds 270sf of living space, which is accomplished by making the plan three feet wider.  The garage is two feet wider than the original plan, and has two single doors.  Bedrooms 2 and 3 are larger, and the hall bath is somewhat larger with a larger vanity than the original plan.  The family room windows are also different from the Rockwood II.  The dining room is wider, and defined by a single column.  The master bedroom is also wider and now includes a double tray ceiling, which is framed by a gabled roof on the back exterior of the home.  Like the original plan, the entry and family room ceilings are over ten feet high.  The Rockwood II Expanded has nine-foot ceilings in the kitchen, breakfast area, dining room, as well the master bath and closet.  The bedroom 2, the butler's pantry,  and the utility room have eight-foot ceilings.  Two small fixed-sash windows have been added in the utility room.   Minor changes to the kitchen layout were made that ultimately allowed upgrade bath optiond to be offered when the loft is converted to a bedroom.   On the loft level, the unfinished attic storage space is now included, and is used in varying ways to accommodate the bath upgrade layouts on that level.  Optionally, the storage space can be finished.  The loft window has also been changed to a larger Palladian style in this plan.
